feature your hackathon
A sponsored slot at the top of /hackathons, its city and topic pages, and the home page hero, labelled as sponsored wherever it shows. Ask with the form or by email; a person replies.
What you get
- pinned to the top of /hackathons and its city and topic pages
- first in the home page hero rotation
- “sponsored” label on the card, hero and listing page
- for a week or a month, ending by itself
A boost adds a Tensor Boy instagram story and a line in the Tensor Protocol newsletter. Organizers who put the Tensor Hack badge on their event site get their first featured week free.
01 · labelled
sponsored says sponsored
Paid slots carry a “sponsored” label on every card, the hero and the listing page, and the link to your site is marked rel="sponsored", as Google asks for paid placements.
02 · same listing
the facts stay the facts
Paying moves your listing up; it does not change its prize, dates or rating. Those still come from your source page, as the methodology describes.
03 · reviewed
real events only
We feature hackathons with a working registration page and a real host. We can decline a request; if you already paid, we refund in full.
04 · free options
listing stays free
Being on the index costs nothing: submit a hackathon, claim your listing, or put the free badge and widget on your site.
Questions
how much does it cost?
It depends on how long you want and what else you'd like. Send the form or an email with your event and dates, and we reply with a quote and a payment link.
when does my slot go live?
On the start date we agree by email, once it is paid. Nothing goes live before that, and it ends by itself on the last paid day.
what does paying change?
Where the listing shows and the “sponsored” label. The prize, dates and rating still come from your source page, and your registration link is marked rel="sponsored".
can you say no?
Yes. We feature real hackathons with a working registration page and a real host, and never a listing flagged for an inflated prize. If you already paid, we refund in full.
how does the free badge week work?
Put the badge from your listing's “run this hackathon?” block on your event site, then ask for your badge week with that page in the notes. One free week per event.
we're a student club. does that change anything?
Yes. Say so in your request; student-run college hackathons get a lower rate.
